Thanks guys. He's not sure exactly which type of engineering yet. Maybe civil or mechanical. The way most programs are set up now, you don't have to pick one until your second year when you become more familiar with the different fields. Anyway, I am very excited for him. I know hewill do well.

I love the feeling of being proud of my kids when they do good in life, so i know how you feel. Hey i was just in your neck of the woods last week getting chicken wings from duffs. Worth the hour trip for the best wings around.

Congrats to Dave Jr and Dave Sr. for this accomplishment.

Now lets get back to where I can get the Best wings in the area.

I'm serious, I lived in Florida where enough transplants had brought the "flavor" down to us. But now I live much closer to Upstate NY to get some wings and I have been dying for some for a few years.
It's worth an overnight trip for me if I know where to go.
PM me if you wish for basic directions and a few names of places you recommend and I will make a 3 day travel out of it and see part of the country as well.
Thanks,
Rick

Sorry, but with all intents to Hijack this thread, is Duff's in Cheektowaga, NY where I need to go for the best wings or not.

Please Help. We will make a weekend trip out of it and stay somewhere local if you can tell me Yay or Nay.

on the way there or back stop in Syracuse at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. Consider the Swag Plate appetizer.

Thanks again guys!

Curt, were you at Duff's on Dick Rd in Cheektowaga? If so, you were right near my shop and home. That is also the Duff's that Obama ate at when he was in Buffalo.

Rick, the best wings are at the small take out pizzarias, but everyones wings around here are good. Duff's in Cheektowaga is an excellent choice, or for the full experience I would recommend Anchor Bar where wings originated. Let me know when you are coming and I will give you more info. Maybe I'll meet you out and buy you a beer!

Robo, Vegas to buffalo is quite a ride. My father lives in Henderson and made the trip from here to Vegas in 40 hours , alone, at 74 years old. I think he slept for a week after.

Eldo, 1310 is awesome. If he got 1310 I would have given him my Vette. Actually I think the Riv is a way nicer car.

Thanks Rick (DEMonte). Your cars are awesome. Love the blackout. I would blackout my sons windows and lamps, but cops around here are anal. Don't want him to get harassed.
