I think even Dave would agree that 3000 miles is overkill on the break in period.

No idea how many miles you have on it but I would change the oil and give her hell.

Just be conservative with the shifting RPM and watch the temperature.
But thats just my opinion.

I had the 421 engine overhauled in my 1965PontiacVenturaCatalina2+2 back in the day. I poked around in that sucker for 1000 miles in that beotch before I started dropping the hammer on it....
That was the longest 1000 miles of my life.

i have put a lot of money in the engine, and swap and everything else, well it may not be alot to some people but to me it is. i even got to the point were i speny my saving bonds from when i was born, which i told my self i wouldn't do, but i did it. and because of that i would rather be safe then sorry. sorry for the life story

I've heard the same (maybe not useless but I have heard you want to break it in the way you intend to drive) but I've never owned a new car or one that's had the bottom end overhauled.

I'm sure Corey is giving it a bit, but as with any large mod like his on a budget there are probably a few kinks to work out.

Like he's swapped the sway bars. I've been trying to drive my Regal nicely since they are known for sway bar breakage and I think one of Corey's was bad also.

Do what you can Corey.. because once you start pressing that pedal, it'll never stop.
