My advice is ask questions here until it's something we're all stumped on.

I was thinking about trying to change my fan turn-on settings for the winter. I think you have them both at 185? I'm thinking 190-195 might work well for winter. I'd rather not have them running at 185 in winter. I'll try to look at that this weekend maybe, but I've really not had much of a chance to do any reading on the actual steps to make changes.

Anyone using an in-car laptop mount? I'm thinking about buying one off Ebay that some DHP forum members have purchased. $90 + shipping, mounts to the seat attachment point instead of drilling holes in the floor.

I'll get you a new BIN, Dave. Have been out of town for work the last few days, so not much time.

Could be wrong, but with that 180º T-stat in there, I'm betting it never gets up to 195ºF to turn the fans on when it's really cold. Maybe 190... maybe.

My fans did not run at all last winter, of course I had a 195 and stock fan settings. Last winter it would warm up to around 190-195 ECT. I just don't want the fans to run when it hits 185 in winter. And this summer with the 180 and before your fan changes, it would still run around 195-200 in town.

Tell ya what, maybe I should see how I like the current fan settings this winter, then consider changes for next year. No worries on a new BIN, much more important things to worry about. smile Whenever you feel like playing with it is fine with me.
