| you would have to put bigger springs on the front and rear, not them retarded ass spacers. one of my boys just put 24's on his '05 grand prix. looks nice but he doesn't have the heavy duty tranny. that would be the other thing you would have to do really quick is go to zzp.com or 3800perfromance.com and buy one of their heavy duty trannys for that extra weight. | |

| So check out this guy's cardomain page:

To use rims that big, do you need a lift kit or what? I don't understand how it's driveable.

| Yeah you definitely need a lift kit.
it looks like it would ride like crap and as soon as you took a hard turn the thing would roll over. it also looks hideous.

| just....Why why WHY!?? i never will understand that... well...they say...you can never arue about taist.....just FIGHT... that riv is in spoiled...all the chroom painted... the only thing on it what maybe can make the car look better is the lips painted car color....but the rims....just....same as makin a ferrari into a monstertruck...?
max on this car could be only 20'' then it would not spoil the car, look and handling

| Well, it could be worse - at least the rims match the car. I still don't like this style of custom car but this isn't the worst example of the style. | |

| Yeah, they did. Sorry but those huge plates look awful. And I also hate the stick-on port holes. I agree with Snowdog, 20's, max on a Riv. | |

I feel bad about knocking anyone's car though - not that there's anything wrong with his car, underneath all the aftermarket stuff.

I see it in Cinci too, but never on a Riv. Caprices, Crown Vics, Impalas. Really big-bodied 80's and early 90's cars mostly. BTW 390hp IS bullshit.

b/c he also quotes 170mph. i cant verify that a riv is drag limited to less than that, but i KNOW his is. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. Assuming he's got all of his mods listed, there's just breathing mods. He lists only K&N intake, flowmaster exhaust. He has a "custom transmission" too, but he lists no Cam, Rockers, IC, any tuning of any kind, no smaller supercharger pulley. Nothing to suggest that he actually gets 390hp out of that ass ugly ruined Riv.

I don't see any pictures of the guy. How do we know what color he is? 390 HP/170 mph seems a bit far-fetched, imo. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Whatever the color of the driver, I personally don't care much for the color choice of the car! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
