| I'm pretty sure I've seen that car in a vid, and I'm pretty sure it did indeed have huge rims on it. 26's or 28's maybe, don't know abt. 30s.
Gotta love the yellowed corner lens.

| I really want to get some wheels. Do you guys think 17 x 7 with +38 offset is a good choice. I just dont want to lower and I sure dont want to worry about any rubbing. Thanks for your imput. | |

| 18 incher's are easier to come by as far as tires go and they fit nicely in the wheel house, no rubbing from what everybody else that has installed this size has to say. I've seen the 18" wheels and tires on a Riv and really like the look and they end up being very, very close to the original wheel/tire diameter so there is little to no correction needed for the speedometer.
18 x 8 with an offset of about 40mm, that will be my next and last expensive mod after some maintenance items are taken care of.

| I have 20" wheels with no rubbing issues.....the car is also lowered with the caddi eibach kit. So I don't think you will have any issues at all with either 17" or 18". | |

| I ran 17x8" wheels (not sure of the offset) for a few years with no problems. Used a 255/45/17, tire size is a little short but I think anything taller that's that wide might rub on turns. | |

| I have 22s on my riv with no lift. It is slower of course. It only rubs if you hit a bump. | |

LOL it only rubs when you hit a bump. Those are the exact words that mean THE WHEELS ARE TOO BIG.

| Nothing larger than a 20" will work here in Canada unless you wanna jack up your Riv . Our roads have bumps in them... 22's aren't overly comfortable with potholes and such. | |

| I have 18's (245/45/18) with the lowered eibach springs. I did have rubbing issues when taking hard corners when the tires were brand new. But now that the tires have worn down a little and the push pins at the tops of the fenders are gone, i dont have any problems.
Edit: i have not had any issues with side to side rubbing either. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I have 18"x8.5" wheels with 215/45/18 tires (stock springs) and no rubbing whatsoever, even during autocrossing. I'm thinking of moving up a size to 225/50/18s. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

love the look and price of these. Planning on lowering the car with the eibach kit in the next few weeks and im scared I'll rub. I've seen plenty of rivs with 22" wheels so im hoping i can get away with the width lol

http://annapolis.craigslist.org/pts/2224882063.html
are another option. waiting to here back on what bolt pattern and offset they are. KMC makes either 18 or 38 for these wheels and Im hoping their the latter.
