| Yeah, I've realized the ports basically look like shit, knowing every other beater and junk car around here has the same ones on em, so I'll take them off probably in a couple weeks. Anyway, just wanna see if these rims compliment or take away from the car. | |

I found out I do have two of the rear window moldings, new in the box. The two that I got a year or so ago must have been the last ones in the country? I had already replaced the ones on my first Silver Arrow and on my '95 but I was just thinking ahead. Next problem is I have to decide if I can part with them, as many of these Rivs as I have, I'll have to think on it. Then, the next problem is where they are located and how they are boxed, I know for sure I wouldn't be able to get them to you for at least a month anyway and if you are talking about needing everything to put it back together by next week, there is no way I would be able to help you out! I just remembered about you needing the right rear W/W molding, I’ll look into that and let you know.

| I even called all the window replacement shops in town to see what they use for moldings since OEM is no longer available. They don't have anything either. Let me know how much it would take for you to part with the rear molding.
The booth availability got pushed back until Wed. I decided to take off bumpers, doors, hood, and trunk lid for a little easier painting. Car is getting some door dings and small dents out today so I don't have to use too much filler. I should be done by the 24th with the paint.
I have a call into Ed Morad about the ww molding. Because of some ass in the parking lot, I need the front driver's side too now. I have not heard back from Ed yet so I might have to look elsewhere.
BTY- thank you for all your help. I enjoyed the phone conversation. I might be going down to Greenville for Labor Day weekend for some fun. Maybe we could meet for lunch. Ashville perhaps?

Yes I am. I got my start in aviation by painting aircraft. The picture below shows the first aircraft I had painted back in '93 or '94 (I was 18 or 19yrs old). I was interviewing for an aircraft fueling position but they gavce me some sandpaper and a bucket of water and told me to wet-sand it down to the fabric and paint it.This one is mostly covered in fabric so special paints were used however I have also painted many aluminum skins as well. Mainly single stage Imron but I have used base/clear too. I can't remember how many aircraft I have painted but it's been quite a few (30+). I even completed one in a day (6am-11pm) with a white base and two colors but it was a scratch and paint. Yes- I had a chance to fly (or be flown in) every aircraft I have painted. A couple even ended up with awards in some airshows (Oshkosh and Sun'n'Fun for those of you who are aviation enthusiasts) I have a friend who owns a race shop and he offered me his booth. Here is a picture of one of his cars. It's from the 24hrs of Daytona back in '02 or '03. He has lots of experience in just about any racing series you can think of. Now he is on the crew of a A1GP team (think last year's F1 cars) I have another close friend who does body work and the two of them have offered to help for beer. Sounds like a good deal but these guys can drink!! I imagine I will spend more on alcohol than paint supplies.... I just need to remember to "pay" them after the car is done!

| That was a long time ago. I don't work for Montgomery anymore as I have my own business but we still work together. Here is Montgomery Aviation now. Below is the type of aircraft I buy/sell/broker (Montgomery operates it on charter)- no more painting for me... how things change! | |

| i think its the rims and the red pin strip that hurts the car the most. and the fact that its not supercharged. | |
