| My cassette player says that there is a type in it, but there isn't. Does anyone know where the release is so i can actually put a cassette in it for my ipod? If that made any sense. | |

| There should be an eject button around the cassette deck. I have a '95 with the tape deck, ashtray, then CD player layout from top to bottom, so I don't know what your radio looks like. If noone answers, check in your owner's manual. | |

| when you push the eject button it just makes a really bad noise. i need to know their is a release inside that i can push to make it release. I don't have a cassette in it and i have never put on in it. so it says an error every time you push the eject button. does anyone know where the release is inside of the player? | |

| hmmm if there was a tape in it id sat use a screwdriver to lift it up but idk... sounds like youre deck might just be busted... my old car did that and it really wasn't fixable. | |

| My tape drive has never worked. The factory tape decks suck big time. Once I had my dash apart so I took my radio out and wedgied the cassette loading tray back into place but it still won't load anything and makes the buggity noise. Get an FM transmitter  | |

| Haha, after looking there, it seems like our cars have an appetite for tapes! One guy even bought his with one stuck in it to boot.
My tape-to-3.5mm adapter works fine in it, ejects out and slips in, but while it's running it makes a clicky noise if the volume is low enough. | |
