| Bob, don't delay scanning for KR. I'm also running a 3.6, and with the mods in my sig, still have KR issues to work out. | |

| I really like my LS1M, but they are out of production at this time. I think Autotap is one that is popular also. I'm not familiar with it, or any others. You do see an LS1M up for sale now and then on various boards, like ClubGP or 3800pro.com, maybe regalgs.org.
I haven't decided if I will keep or sell mine, once I have my PowrTuner up and running. It's simpler/easier to use in the car instead of a laptop, but has fewer features for scanning.

| I e-mailed Intense and I told them that I was coming down next week, and they said they could do the install for free, but I think he might have forgot that I have a Riviera. What the hell difference would it make? | |

| I dunno. They already are very experienced with the pulley tool, so I think they wouldn't mind because it would boost their business. Heck, if it saves me $30 for the rental, that's why I'm going with them. | |

| Yes, Tim King quit recently. Ed Morad has done a few, and he's in your area. I'd give him a call. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I didn't know that King was their mechanic. I heard about his heath problems, that's a shame.
So, I don't really want to do this pulley install myself, and Mr. Morad is only about 45 mins away, so looks like I'll go with him. I'm more comfortable doing a job like the front manifold... I have this fear of messing up my pulley.
Ya know, I just realized... I don't really drive my Riviera hard like I did my Regal. I mean, I still enjoy the acceleration on the freeway and whatnot, and once in a while I'll take it up to 100 (which feels better in the Riv than in my worn-struts Regal).
I think I'm going to get my FWI and pulley first, then when I can afford the Plog, I'll get it. And until then, I won't go WOT.
Come to think of it, I think I've only gone WOT with this Riviera maybe once, and it was because some asshole lady was literally 3 feet from my bumper going 70. Then she tried to pass me, and I slammed it. Hah, man was she pissed. Got a lil' taste o' the Riv, though.

Pulley install is not really all that hard. took me two hours and i didnt really follow instructions so thats probably why it took me that long. And I'm one of those people who messes up everything possible before i fix the problem. I go WOT in the riv less than i did in my last car. The riv is enjoyable to drive without using all its power. I think , and that lends itself to why... However i still go WOT as often as i see fit.

| i have some different kinds of pullers but nothing to press a new one on.when i got the 3.4inch we took the 3.8 off then realized we had no way to put the new one on. we ended up bakeing it at 400 in the oven then somehow we were able to get it on. wasnt the best thing to do but it worked | |

| Yes, not the best thing to do, but glad it worked. There are several members on here that own there own pulley installer/ puller made from one or another manufacturer. Who's pulley do you currently have on your car.? Do you know the manufacturer, is it ZZP, Intense, Pulley Boys, Smooth Flow, etc. | |

Use a power steering pulley installer from OTC, the threads are identical to the ones in the snout.

| Can you remove the stock pulley and install another press-on pulley with the supercharger still on the car? | |

yeppers! No S/C removal required. It's actually easy if you have the right tools.

It depends on the year of the engine. 1995 - NO, you have to remove the SC 96-99 - Yes
