CHINA! With the exception of maybe the MSRs that Jordan posted, you'll be hard pressed to find a new wheel for under $500 EACH that's not made in China. Even so, it's not like Chinese rims are junk by any means. Many, especially the better known brands like Enkei (a Japanese brand made in China)), are of very good quality materials and finish. The only reason not to want them is the principle. Understandable, but it's not the same as the Chinese knock-off junk that you can buy at Wal-Mart. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| If they are compatible with hub-centering rings, they will fit. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| 1. what are hub centering rings? 2. i agree about the chinese stuff. in my line of work several people have lost their lifes due to chinese made shackles cast of inferior metals wearing thru under load and dropping them to their deaths. 3. i will still buy some of them like enikie because i know of the standards they are tested to. | |

| Ruben, I was somewhat set on buying 18's when I was looking for new wheels but ended up with 17's, and I think I'm actually happier with that size, as far as aesthetics go. Obviously this is just my opinion, but I think anything over 18 'looks' too big for the Riviera as a whole car.
Which Lucerne wheels are you referencing?

You must be looking at the same set on eBay from LKQ that I was looking at The opening bid was $299 with free shipping, and no had bid on them the last time I looked. It is a good deal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Lucerne-17-Chrome-Alloy-Wheel-Rims-Set-OEM-LKQ-/360648469740 No worries on competing for them though, I don't think I want chrome. If that set, be aware they are pitted and the chrome is bubbling off which can cause sealing problems at the bead. But I agree, personally the 17" Lucerne wheels from 06-11 (5x115) should be great looking wheels on the Riviera. I see other versions of this wheel listed also as 16" and 18", but I'm not sure if it also really came in these sizes or the listings are incorrect. I have verified through research at Tirerack that the 06-11 17x7" Lucerne wheels are 5x115 and seem to have a similar backspacing as the stock Riviera wheels. I'm hoping to pick one up in the coming weeks for a test fit. Al

| Yes, those are actually the rims I was talking about. Do u think they would fit? I really like these chrome buick 18s. But the more I think of it, I'm starting to want the brushed nickel version. If the price stays reasonable I might try n get those 17s off of ebay tho. LOL | |

| Stay away from flaking chrome wheels. I work at a tireshop, and they're a pain in the butt to deal with. Most shops don't know how to make them seal. Plus they will only continue to flake and look like crap in a few months. | |

| Check these out, I really like these. I dont know if they fit? Thanks Jordon, that is true about the chrome flaking off. I already went thru that with my oem rims on the rivi. Slow leaks of air /http://www.ebay.com/itm/290908744348?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 | |

/http://www.ebay.com/itm/290908744348?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 That is an unreal deal, although the auction is over. But they won't fit the Riviera. I like the Regal wheels quite a bit but they are 5x120 bolt patterns. I guess one could have them drilled to fit? ....not sure how that would work. But they won't bolt up.

| Yea after some research I found that they wouldnt fit. Can they get drilled? I dunno if that would be too pricey. I really like the Buick rims on Daves car. So the rims need to be 5X115? | |

Which Lucerne wheels are you referencing? What car are your rims off of ? They look like caddy?

| In your opinion, how much should a good set of new wheels and street tires cost? Is ~$1200 an accurate expectation? | |
