Similar concept to re-soling a boot? I will definitely have to ask the guy about that. That might be a deal breaker, especially since the tires arent anything special to begin with.

You ever see the shredded giant Semi tires in and on the side of the road? Those are re-treads. They literally just glue new treads to old tires. They can/will just fly off the car. Certainly not a good idea if you plan on going fast  nono

I don't think they retread radial tires. Not sure they ever did. I think I remember hearing about cutting treads deeper into a worn tire, but I may have been sniffing glue twisted

You can have all-season tires siped, which is where they cut slits in the tread for better water/snow/ice traction. They only cut sipes in new tires, that I'm aware of.

5x115 is the correct pattern. 52 mm offset will probably work fine. They'll be very flush to the body for sure.

Hopefully with the robo setup I should be able to control the body of the vehicle so if won't hit as hard and rub my tires... I want some alloy bbs but can't find none sporty enough to suit my appetite

Do a lot of people get vibration at that speed? My car has zero vibration at any speed (except 0 mph haha) with my current 17s

No, not with aftermarket wheels. Some have trouble with OEMs and tire balance issues.

If there's vibration and aftermarket wheels, it's still most likely a tire balance issue.

If it's not balance, usually a rim out-of-round.

Oh! Well lets hope I don't get that issue... These honestly seem lighter than my current wheels, so I guess that's a plus. With the regal wheels I had on my old Riv I never had any vibration problems.

I took my 20's off soon as got back from Houston... its the vibration that killed me the most and the problem still persist even that I have my factory wheels on. So I am chasing down a suspension that's made for this Louisiana purchase terrains
