| I've been reading this board for some time and have found it to be very helpful, but now I've got a problem. I noticed the trunk light on my 97 Riv won't come on. After troubleshooting I know I'm not getting power to the light, so I went looking for a fuse. Help! I can't find anything for the trunk light. Does anyone know which fuse it's on? I have checked the most obvious ones with no luck, but I don't want to tear into the harness just to trace a fuse. | |

| Hmmm, it appears that the trunk light shares power with the footwell lights and the lights on the doors. If those are out too, check the right rear fuse block "PWR DR LK" fuse, under the back seat. If no other lights are out of order, then you probably have a bad trunk switch or a bad wire, probably somewhere near where it flexes every time the decklid is raised... | |

| Thanks for the info. The other lights work and I did test the harness for power back past the hinge so I guess I have to dig deeper. At least I know I didn't miss something simple. | |

| while you are at it test for power at the socket - maybe light filament is split (not burned out) but not obvious.
