Ha just doesn't know it yet.!!!
I might be tempted except I think the Black Carbon Fiber would be a TERIBLE choice for your color combination! wink
I was half kidding, but you think that kit wouldn't work with a Tan Interior.??? This is why I was in favor of people posting pic's...... and i trust your experienced judgment..
WAH!! WAH!!! WAH!!!

What color wood do you recommend.????
It's hard to say which would be the best choice? I'm sure I have seen the Riv in the Green Mettalic as you say yours is but since we have never seen yours in the Showroom here it would be a guess at best?!? As you said, the Exterior plays a part in that decision.

The Interior color is #1 reason, Exterior #2.
That was why I went with the Dark Burlwood in my '95, I thought it was the best choice with the Black/Platinum Beige cheers

Sherwood Kit ... Dark Burlwood (real wood kit) ... Black/Platinum Beige interior
I thought a DARK wood dash would look best with my dark exterior color ...

And Larry opted for a lighter/medium dash for his light colored Riv ...
LOOK GREAT LARRY! cheers

It also depends on what look you are going for, as has been said here before the wood gives the Riv more of a look of Luxury and the Carbon Fiber gives a more Sporty look.

I'm considering the marble looking trim kit for my black riviera with graphite interior. Let's see what you got.

There might be a closer match to your combo in this thread.

You might want to read my install thread if you haven't already. I did a lot more than peel n stick.

That actually looks pretty good. I'm just trying to get an idea of what I want for mine. I've never seen another one with graphite interior and mine is just too plain.

Hometown Hero's kit?

I dunno about the marble pattern. I'd stick with patterns of materials you'd really find in a car.

honestly, wood is not a material you should really find in a car. But I've seen interiors trimmed with carbon fiber, stainless steel, chrome, simulated animal fur, etc. None of which I'd like to find in my car. Thank you for your opinion though.

RickW I like that color scheme you have going on and Hometown Hero, thats the same color I was thinking about getting. I think we have the same interior (light blue?) and I was looking at gettting the grey wood kit. I dont have the center console to set it off all the way though.

No, I have the Charcoal interior in my 95, the camera was just a POS. The kit is Titanium burlwood not "marble". Same as the other burlwood patterns just a grey base color instead of assorted browns like 99 Rivman has.. Trust me if you saw it in person not in shytty camera pics the opinions of it would be much more favorable. It was a toss up between this 1 and the black onyx style.

And this was from the ebay seller as well? There are so many different sellers and I dont want to buy one from one website and then find out next week, another site has it for $50 less.

When I bought my kit, I wanted the kit that had labels for all the switches on the door panels. The only manufacturer that does that is Sherwood. The kit I bought was real wood (Rosewood), and the lettering is on the wood, which is covered with a thick layer of polyurethane type material. That means the lettering will never rub or wear off. If you are going for a wood grain, get the real stuff. It is much better looking than the fake stuff.

I looked at theirs but they didnt have anything in my color scheme that would look good. It was more geared towards the lighter toned interiors. I have the light blue.

When I spent a bunch of time looking into a wood dash kit I remember the general opinion from everyone was that the Sherwood kit was the way to go due to fit and finish.
The extra bonus being the switches are marked properly.
I remember reading complaints from different people on here about problems they had fitting the pieces on, from other manufactures.
So I decided, that when I do it, I'm going to use the Sherwood product.
