| There was a deep cherry color used on the late '90s Impalas and Rivieras. Very rare, but I've seen Rivs in this color. Looks like black, but with a red tint in the right light... one of my favorite colors!
And you can never go wrong with black. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| ooo man if that was a little bit darker i would consider it, but being the amazing painter that i am i can make it darker. im thinking also a black base with a pearl red over it, as much as i hate the color re. i think it would decent.but what i need is a color that just screams out look at that luxury car, or damn now thats classy. my mom has a black infiniti M45x now thats classy, i want mine to look more classy then that/ is it possible i dont know i hope that it is i see that Cadillac has the color aswell this isnt the black cherry peral but look at this amazing looking car | |

| for a dark cherry I like the Black Lava Red Pearl Clearcoat code: MQ/ZMQ on the first year Chrysler 300's. What's cool about this color is the illusion of the red flair in the black/red and the fact that it has become a discontinued color. It's nice to grab a rare color. Mine is from a Ram that only was availible on 1996 models. Just tried to get a good pic of one but there is non for same on eBay and the Google images don't do it justice and their not much to choose from. Back in high school my sister's boyfriend's dad had an Eldorado just around the same time I was obsessed with them. I always wanted a black on and when I saw the kid's dad driving from the opposite direction I thought it was black, then the light hit it and BOOM, money green. now the Eldorado was a boxy car so you could imagine how impressive it would look cascading over the lines of the Riv. | |

| i've always been partial to dark blues myself this may be a little too much red for your taste, but this color looks good too IMO. maybe its just the way it reflects IDK. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I still like the Deep Cherry on the Pontiac. I think the Cadi is the same color. but the Pontiac is just reflecting more red. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| welll after some hard ass thinking, and about a can of skoal. i think that im just going to keep it the stock burgundy, but just spike it up with like flakes or something, i dont really have the time or money to pull the engine. and strip down the full car, i just dont have the money,, but i think that the fact of having to pull the engine and wiring, i had to money to do the V8 and all they working then i might considered it. i just need to think more things thru first. so im just going to paint it the same color as stock just spice it up with some flakes perals or maybe even kandys something | |

In a lot of ways I think that's a better plan, but the minute you do anything special with the paint you'll have to do rim$ too. If I had your car I think I would either go two-tone with black, either down the center or on the sides like the car in the left of my .sig. If you're going for a hot rod look, a matte black might be hot. It'll mean an extra tricky time finding rims that match the theme. Hard enough to find rims that fit this car to begin with. A two-tone interior would also help. If you've got the beige pieces, that'll work, but the burgundy could also work with black accents.

| ok first off a flat black riv would be a no go IMO. i would keep it peral white, then just get a nice set of rims, and paint the side of the spokes peral white to match the car
BTW im an auto body guy . let me tell you if ur panels arent perfect square, and with no dents it will turn out good, if you like washing it once a week. but if lets jsut say a gap was off or you had some small dents, very small.like you cant feel them with ur hand. you will see it in the paint. no 2ways around it. so if you are going to paint it black make sure you have them do all grade A++ body work or else you will hate your self for it
thats just my opinion on it, you could car less about a small dent

| Having a black Riv I'll warn you that it's a bitch to keep clean, at least up north it is. Also it gets real hot in the summer. | |

| Black, sure. Flat black.... I vote no. Keeping it bright white diamond would be much more expensive than a typical paint job. Don't know what I'll do when/if I decide to repaint. | |

| A black car ALL NICE and waxed and clean and sexy will look better than ANYOTHER COLOR........................... but it will get dirtier faster............
i always get into arguments with people about white and black....... some people think that white gets DIRTY fast..... but in reality if you throw a bucket of water on a black car and a white car......... the white car is gonna show LITTLE to NOOO signs of waterspots...... on the other hand the black car is TOOOOOOOOO the wash again
