The sweeping curve to the top of the front grill area looks good. It works with the curves of the car.

and I gotta say, I'm not usually a fan of 2-tone rivs, but that line makes it work from every angle. Either the guy who laid out the line is a genius, or got really lucky.

I have to agree that the location of that line works with the Rivs' body style. The shot named "Front end painted:" really accentuates the fenders. I also personally like the fact that its black on top and red on the side, and not the reverse. I don't recall if you have selected rims for her yet Ben, but choosing the right style will be the cherry on the top, the wrong set will throw off the look. Great job!!! clap

Can the insert on the wheel be painted to match the red on your car?

that black insert is two sided so you can paint the front of the insert whatever color and you can either buy a decal for the back of it or paint the back of the insert and it reflects of the chrome behind it.

They are called diablo reflection x they are an expensive rim about 1300 just for the rims plus tires.

Hmmmm... just my opinion here Ben, but it may be a little too much black and red. The two tone looks great, and the body lines of the Riv are already classy. If you go for a nice wheel, it will really bring it all together in a more subtle way, but thats me. Either way, its gonna be a special Riv.

I'm with BMD. The best rims don't take over the look of the car. They look like the car could have come with them from the factory.

I think some black or aluminum finish rims would look pretty good.

OK, I've just got to toss my opinion in here. First and foremost, Ben, it's your car. I recall when
you were trying out various designs and soliciting comments on them. Frankly, I thought that none of them were suitable...and I feared that you would screw it up royally with or without help.
I was wrong. You came up with the perfect solution, and it looks great. So now we come to the wheels, and the only answer here is that you see--in your mind--the Riv complete with those wheels. Dave's got the answer, and I'll bet you already have that planned. The Riv will be perfect for you--and I'll guess for almost everyone once they see it.
FYI: I'm older than both you and Robo. I plan to keep my original wheels (which I prefer on my Riv and generally speaking I prefer one solid color on a car. I'm relatively dull. I once owned a 4-door Plymouth that could--and did--scatter drug dealers when they saw it coming. but I like what you have done.
