As she is now; painted the intake and got some Euro plates! Also made the finishing washers on the rear license plate bolts fluorescent to go with the UV lights:

Actually, I was pulled over(first time ever) on the way to the car show I took that second picture at, but it was a cop who was bored and picked me out of a group of 5 cars that came across a speed zone doing 5mph over while still slowing down...said I was doing a little speeding and he wasn't a fan of my exhaust. Didn't say anything about the plates, but I have the NY plate in the window on suction cups so it's clearly visible. I popped the silencer in my exhaust and he let me go. I passed state inspection like that, too. No silencer, no plate, and with HID's.

The whole thing with exhaust noise is pretty stupid to me. In wisconsin the rule is that your car cannot be louder than stock, which means some cars can be louder than others. It is kind of unfair that motorcycles can get away with being so loud for safety reasons, but cars cannot. I have had plenty of people pull in front of me or almost hit me because they did not notice me in my riv.

Haha, loud...
I definitely agree that the laws are stupid and blind. If someone puts straight pipe on their car and goes flooring it through a residential neighborhood from 2AM to 4AM every day, then that's a problem. If we modify our exhausts to sound nice and sweet, but we aren't stupid about it, then I believe the police have bigger issues to concentrate on. If there's no rape, no murder, no nothing, and all they're doing is cracking down on people who like cars as a hobby, then I think we can cut some budgets.

I'm in NY state. It's my opinion that police here are cracking down on those without front plates (me, for many years until I was ticketed last year) because of the recent promulgation of plate readers on patrol cars. These make it very easy to find scofflaws and real criminals. These cameras can read an incredible number of plates in passing and run them through DMV in short order. I'll bet states that don't require front plates now will do so in the future in the name of the "public safety" lobby.

I guess they have no idea how a front plate ruins the look of most cars. Putting a custom vanity plate on the front is a choice, like one of those chrome plates with a car brand in the middle, or what I have, but being required to have a front plate screwed into the bumper is annoying.

Yup, made in Swindon, UK! With this car, everyone wants the EDM conversions, not the JDM!

71 Charger review from - 71? Love the dig at the insurance industry at the end. Also the Austin Powers sound track.
