Here are a few pictures I took of my Uncle's GTO I've been driving for about a month. It's probably the fastest production car I've ever ridden in. Needs absolutely zero mods! It's fast enough to kill you as it is haha.

Always been a fan of the GTOs! My neighbors besfriend has a built 04 with the blacked out taillights and the hood scoops painted black. Pretty amazing performing car for the money you can get them for!

And to think, they make a bolt-on twinscrew blower kit for the GTO, in case you want more power, and Pedders makes a track ready suspension package for firmer handling. Great cars, and the price is almost down to being affordable. I've been waiting long enough!

I can't imagine more power. Without traction control the car will try to kill you. There's not a lot of room for fat drag radials either. I don't see how you would get any traction with a twinscrew set-up.

I just bought myself an 87 IROC 5.0 the other day. I'm gonna try to get some pics up as soon as I can. Its still in pieces. I need to paint it and assemble it, but otherwise it's in great shape.

The GTO is more than a drag car, though. It was created with hopes for GT race duty. In 2003, there were two HRT 427 versions produced, which borrowed the engine from the GT racing Corvette C5R. The hope was to produce a few hundred of these, and eventually a street version. The project died, and the only surviving HRT outside the Holden factory recently sold for $900,000. 0-60 mph was an estimated 3.7 secs - 10 years ago!

It's an automatic. It's a blast to drive! Still not faster than my Dad's GN though haha.

T'was the night before christmas, and all through the cluster, not a single light was lit, just red-orange luster. Coming close on 40,000 miles put on this car since I bought it in August '10 with 94,600 miles on her!
