PostSubject: temp   FAQ: Fragged Tensioner/Idler Pulley Reports & Questions - Page 8 EmptyFri Nov 28, 2014 9:09 pm

When I bought my new Riv in September I changed the belts, pulleys, water pump, AC compressor, plugs and LIM Gasket just to eliminate any real possible issues down the road. The pulleys were squeaky and the ac clutch was shot and grinding. On my original riv I had a waterpump lick up and lost my plastic pulleys to the belt melting them. I was in the middle of nowhere in Nitro, VA which is not close to home lol. This experience made me leery and I am very proactive now so I put the metal pylleys on and I feel better. I cut the spacer too during all of this updating to make things easier in the future.
