Another good reason, imo, is that I have logged 93k miles with INTENSE gen IIIs (you know, the Harlan Sharp ones that were supposed to throw metal shavings into your oil).

Me too.

When we hit 100k, we need to send a letter to INTENSE commending them on the quality of these rockers. (knock.. I mean bang on wood).

so are those the same as the yella terra rockers on intense right now? I'm thinkin about gettin this done as soon as i get the cash. and also just wondering, this mod doesnt increase pressure or anything does it? IIRC it increases flow.

The Gen IIIs are not the same as Yella Terras. These were made by Harlan Sharp in Ohio. HS invented roller rocker technology. A bad batch of rocker mounts (very few, I think) created a scare that forced INTENSE to stop selling. With the correct mounts, they are a great product. I think the Yella Terras are also good, and they are less $$.

Depends on what you mean by 'pressure'. They increase strain a little to the upper valvetrain (valve springs, pushrods, and timing chain), but our engines can handle it. They do increase flow by opening the valves about 20% further in the case of 1.9:1 ratio.

I remember when I bought my yella terras from INTENSE, they didn't have the HS anymore. Like they didn't carry them or they were discontinued. Although the terra were blue (which matched my paint) I remember AA's being red from his write up pics.

how much were yours AA? Cause the terras werent cheap at $400 if I remember right.

Yella Terras are $369.99 and include pushrods. The HS rockers were the same price, but pushrods were $99 extra.

is there any place where you can still buy the hs roller rockers? i would rather have those because of the success you had with them

You can try contacting HS. The Yella Terras are probably just as good. I've heard no problems about them.

yes sir, this way most of the snow will be gone. but it will still be cold enough to make some real decent boost

Corey, what are your goals with the Regal? Is this planned as a street/strip car, street use only, or ??? What kind of 1/4 ET's are you expecting or wanting to see? (Assuming it will make it to the track)

honestly im not even really sure. im just doing things as i go along. i guess if any thing. im going for the record for the fastest DD thats actually DD year round. but as for 1/4 miles times im going to be shooting for high 11s

You'll need to narrow that down a bit, as any thousand + hp sports car can be driven year round in the southwest, and are. There's a guy in California who drives a couple of these -
