| I was wondering, on the zzp site they also have 1.95:1 aluminum roller rockers available. Would these give slightly better performance than the 1.9:1 setup? I know that I need the springs, and pushrods. I would much rather go this route than a cam because I am not inclined to take out my engine, or pay out the arse for someone else to do it. any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated. | |

| The 1.95:1 should offer a very slight flow advantage because it gives more lift. I don't know exactly how durable the valvetrain is with this ratio, but with higher the ratio/lift, you get more HP at the expense of more strain on valvetrain, timing chain, etc. I've seen almost 100K miles on the 1.9:1 ratio, so it's probably okay. But, you notice no one will try 2:1. There's something about going that far that seems dangerous. 1.95:1 seems like pushing the envelope, imo, but who knows for sure? Seems they are being very careful about not going 2:1, so you know it's a very sensitive thing. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| thanks for the advice, i think im just gonna stick with the 1.9's then. also does anyone know how much it would cost for a professional to do the work for me, because I am not very knowledgeable on doing this by myself. And I would rather have a liable professional screw up my engine than me. | |

| Doesn't Zoomer from ZZP have a 9 second Regal? Maybe it was a Gran Prix. It may not be a daily driver at any rate. | |

| Driving a high 11 second car in snow doesn't seem like fun to me.
And There's a turbo regal idown here pushing over 550whp ( probably like 600 when he gets his tuning and fuel system done, oh and thats not using his 150 shot of N2O ) and he drives it year round , because florida has mild winters , and yeah you're not gonna match it with a roots blown NIC build.
Don't get me wrong , go all out if you want , but high 11s , won't put you close to the fastest DD regal.

| With springs and everything, I'd guess around 150-200 bucks.
I'm probably gonna let my mechanic install mine , after the track trip next week.

It's got to do with his new purchase of his NIC cam.... Zoomer asked him to buy a ZZP pcm when Corey asked politley for a .BIN for his regal for the cam.....

| I wouldn't expect ZZP to give him a bin either. Bins may get passed around freely in the private sector... | |

| They really can't provide 'a .bin for a cam' anyway. .bin for what? MAF table? VE table? Timing table? Shift points? These things vary SO much from car to car depending on many different factors there is no way they can predict what your .bin needs to be with their cam. They can take a pretty good guess, but do you want to drive around a good guess? Get it tuned properly after the cam is in.
You can tell them your engine and all your mods, and they can come close, but nothing is going to be 'right' except a custom tune.
