| They look nice, but are they really that far apart from the bumper? That's always the thing I hated about the single tips on both sides - it seems like they are always hanging down really far below the bumper like something you'd see on an old truck with those cheesy old duals. | |

| Nah its really just the angle. They are set in the same spot as the stock tips. However when i redo my exhaust ( probably this summer) i'll have them mounted a little closer , and further set in. | |

One of the first things i want to do is put sum nice twin pipes on both side and wanted to see what you all got. Not sure if i want slant/straight cut or circle/oval. Show me what your working with!

| This question has probably come up before but I figured I'd just ask. My stock ones are ok but they will need to go eventually. What are the best? Are ppl just replacing their stock ones with aftermarket chrome ovals or something else? | |

| Man I love those tips...the thin walls look very Euro, but my setup looks like I have a pair of rockets mounted under the bumper instead of a pair of mufflers! | |

Timo, how does it sound now that you put a resonator on.? Is it tolerable compared to before.?

May I be frank.? Well, I will be anyway. I personally do not like the look of your mufflers and tips hanging down under the car like that. All the visible clamps, etc. It looks bad.

These are what I put on my '95: I would have liked them to be a little smaller and flatter since I didn't do anything else to the exhaust, but the black chrome looks pretty good to me! There are a couple more shots of them on page 10 of this topic

I got them off of eBay, I can't remember the seller info but they are: Ractive Tips:Part Number: T820B Desc: SS BLACK CHR TIP 4 3/4" X 3 1/2" You should be able to do a search and they will come up if there are any on there right now. You can either check for the Chrome T820, or the Black Chrome T820B, they are the same except for the finish.

| what do you think of these tips on stock GTP mufflers? I'm getting the mufflers installed on the Riv Monday. Not sure if I want to re-use the stock tips or go with something like these. I believe the outlet pipes on the GTP mufflers are 2.25" so these should fit. Wish I could find black chrome tips in this shape. | |

| Can you tell me the dimensions of the GTP mufflers.? Are you replacing with those just for the sound? If so I'm going to have to drive down that way and hear what they are like. As far as Black Chrome tips, I think I saw some a while ago back when I was looking for tips myself. You can always just install the mufflers for now until you find the tips you really want. Although that is an excellent price for chrome oval tip. | |

| I'm just looking for a little more grumble at the back so GTP mufflers sound like the way to go. I like the ones Randall posted above but they are a little more round than I'd prefer. I'll get a vid of my setup once they are welded in. | |

| well about muflers i can say...don't mess whit the size. they should be same size or bigger then the stock ones. Could change piping size 2,5 or 3''. My new muflers are a bit too small. in my opinion they make too much noise on low rpm's what annoys me. but oh well can allways turn the music louder lol.. | |
