| You'll get em. Right now I'm sorting out getting the dash painted and getting some replacement parts. Well, hrm, lemme go out and see if I can take some in the garage without the flash messing them up. I'm still in the middle of my splurging, so expect a lot more | |

| Btw, who is it that I've seen around here with the Riviera logo on the under-hood insulation painted? I'd love to experiment with that and different colors | |

| My dad wants to get his car tinted and thinks we can get a deal from this place if we do both our cars at once , Its a place ive gone to several times with great results and i trust their work completely. They offer a lifetime warranty tint as well. Any opinions good or bad are welcome.
Also not where i live. Its florida... it gets really really hot.

| Get it done... Its better for your eyes and car anyway. I think it protects your interior somewhat from the effects of the sun.. What % are you getting. | |

| I would go at least the legal limit. The upside: Cooler interior, less sunfade on interior pieces, better 'protection' from prying eyes if you leave/have anything valuable in your car. The downside: these cars aren't the best for blind spots.. If you go dark, it makes it that much tougher to see out of at night... | |

| I say go for it. was one of the best things I did. Cooler (california) and UV protection. Downside is I got pulled over for it and have to go to court to prove it's legal. Here we can get a note from a doctor/optometrist to clear it. | |

| I've never noticed any difficulty seeing at night. Then again, I've never driven a car at night that didn't have very dark tint. Definately tint it though. | |

| I'd think the interior rearview mirror would have a hard time adjusting through darker tint. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Eh, I don't think it works with the tint anymore but I don't really care the tint makes up for it. I'm not sure how well the thing even worked without tint in the first place. | |

| Mine works great with no tint. Of course, if your tint is dark enough, brights in the rearview won't be much problem. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

Well thats what the dimmer on the mirror is for. I'd just like to keep the car cooler in the summer.

| i live in PA, and my moms suburban is tinted WAAAY darker than the Riv was, and everytime she gets pulled over with the burban they dont say anything bout the tint....does it have something to do with the fact that my brother is only in his 20's so hes young and they just wanna screw with him | |

pretty much ALL factory tint is PROVEN to be safe to block sun and what not..... if your bro has like 5% tint.... than NO one can SEE in the window... AND than a cop is like well HMMMM maybe he can't see out.....

| I've got really dark tint on my Riv and haven't gotten any trouble about it (knock on wood). Not sure the percentage but it's probably down around 10% or so. I hate non-tinted windows, I don't want everyone looking into my car and seeing what I'm doing since as a general rule most people who would look into my car aren't cops. | |
