I just had 5% put on mine this morning. 15% is as low as you can go legally in Oklahoma. It was a cash ticket but it still has a lifetime warranty. He said it stayed in the computer so they would have record of it. Very dark...looks sweet on the black rivi. My buddy has it on his Z-28 too. Vision is fine during the day but it get a little tricky at night. I basically only drive mine to work anymore so I really wasn't worried about night time driving. I'll try to take a pic and post it later.

Here they use the tint law as more "probable cause" to pull someone over to check them out. I'm sure the burb looks more like a soccer mom vehicle so it doesn't draw as much attention.

PA is 70% on any window. you can do 35-42% on the front and most likely not have any trouble. and then do what ever on the back side. just them then you have eye problems with the sun, and you dont want to cause an accident , the tint helps me drive better and more careful

Well, it just occured to me most old ladies never tint their windows. I hate seeing non-tinted window Rivs, they look so much nicer with tinted windows. To be honest, I don't see how anyone drives a car without tinted windows. I like the shading it provides and I like how it keeps other people from looking into my car or seeing me while I'm driving.

^my Riv had a greenish colored tint to it. It reminded me of Mercedes Benz's blue tint they had.

I did see one time a Riv for sale with half-mirrored windows. Looks like it was factory. Anyone know of the mirror horizon tint as an option?

Personally, I won't get my window's tinted, because I drive with them open all the time anyway!

I see no reason for tinting, personally. I have nothing to hide here, my interior is a light color, so it's relatively cool, and I wear sunglasses...

I think my Riv looks just fine w/o. I DO think tinting looks good on some color combos though.

Okay, do you like that anyone can look at you while you're sitting at a light or if you park your car near some clowns who might break in if they could see inside? I like the freedom to look at other people without them knowing who I am, what I look like or anything else. They don't need to see what I'm doing in my car and so I think ALL cars should be tinted. I know every car I ever own will be tinted, it's just lame not to have tinted windows. Mostly old folks who don't tint windows because they claim they can't see at night, although I've never had a problem and I have never driven a car without tinted windows.

Personally, I don't care if someone looks at me. They have the right to do that. And looking isn't necessarily an aggressive gesture. Ever catch a lady looking over at you? Ever catch her smiling?

If I were a thief, I would only break into cars with tinted windows... because I know they have something to hide, like a nice stereo or an iPod.

Wait until you get a little older and you can't see as well. I want older drivers to have every advantage they can when driving on the road.

No, I don't ever look over at other people when I'm driving and other people shouldn't either. Girls wouldn't look at me because all the ones I see are far too absorbed in their phone conversation to be concerned with anything else (Even the road).

My Riv has been tinted since we've owned it back in 2004 I believe, no one has ever (knock on wood) tried or broken into the car. There's nothing in it. No iPod (I keep mine in my pocket at all times), no custom radio, no custom speakers, nothing. I have two or three CDs in the center console and some tools for the car and the glovebox has only important things in it and a map from AAA.

My rear windows were tinted when I got the car. I hate it almost almost as much as I hate the aftermarket alarm/security system. You cannot see SHIT at night if you have to backout anywhere.

Ya know, I think this "looking in others car windows" is an issue in some places, not in others. Around here, it just doesn't matter in the least.

on a serious note, my interior is that blueish gray color and when I'm driving into the sun, (something me and NASA has been working on for years...) I get a wicked reflexion on the windshield....so I bought a black dash cover and it completely fixed the problem....

Dash glare on windshield. If you don't tint and don't cover in flat black---wear polarized sunglasses. Kills the glare dead.
