no, they dont make one for the riv. I got mine at egauges.com and bought the one for the 86 style regal (turbo). Its not an exact fit but looks good enough. Thought I had a write up on here for it but I guess not. The a-pillar mounting is one of the easiest things to do to a riv.

| It's a nice cool day, upper 60's, the coolest so far since I bought the gauge so I decided to do a "performance" run on the Aeroforce...
Personal best, although I'm not sure how accurate these gauges are...

Easy to see without taking your eyes off the road(much). Bert:tavis: my boost line kept kinking. now thats Ive moved it, I got no kink...but the damn gauge still aint working right. It never really has worked right for some reason. Ever time I floor it in park I can get it to move....if I hook it up to my air compressor it moves just fine....but while in drive and flooring it and never freaking moves - despite the aeroforce showing 10+lbs if boost. hence why im switching it out for a vac gauge.

| two questions about the aeroforce...
How do you have more than one if they plug into your DLC? Can it read engine oil pressure on a 97 riv?

| Codith, With multiple gauge installations they sell a wiring adapter to allow multiple gauges. I'd like to buy just the wiring adapter if someone knows if they sell it separately. | |

| I like the idea of a scan gauge, I just don't like the size. So I've been looking around for a monitor and found this. Its called Watchdog its made by Bullydog. It's a dual platform monitor ment for both diesel and gas apps. While it's not as specific as the Aeroforce guage, I personally like the screen display better than a scan guage. That said I have very limited plans on modifying this car, I just want a little more information about whats going on than what GM deemed necessary. What do you guys think? Any suggestions or products I may have missed?

I don't plan on doing much just a few basic things as this is mainly my daily driver/beater.

| I know, Im not completely happy with it. And I'm still in the 'shopping' stage so its just an idea. The aeroforce guage is still at the top of the list, Im just not sold on it yet. I do like the driving coach feature, since I have a lead foot, it might help with fuel economy. | |

| Just look for a used Autotap. The ultimate scanner.
Of course, a used Autotap is only a step away from a powertuner...

| Hmm that is a another option. I want an onboard monitor/guage so I know whats going on all the time. Its looking like Aeroforce is the only way to go. I noticed on thier website that thier working on something called an Aeroscan, so maybe they're coming out with something along that line. | |

| Ironclad-454, Look at the Scangage II here. https://rivperformance.editboard.com/series-ii-scans-tuning-pcm-f5/scangauge-ll-by-linear-logic-t4394.htm#57042If that type of gauge interests you, try googling it and you will find many retailers and discounts. I know J.C. Whitney sells it and they are always emailing me with weekly discounts and/or free shipping offers. Aaron, Try this site for OBD2 splitters. http://www.obd2cables.com/products/cables/cable-j1962m-to-2-j1962f-y-cable-1ft.html or this for running two aeroforce gauges: http://www.aeroforcetech.com/images/title_acc.gif | |

| turned the car off and a few mins later turned it back on and the gauge did not come on but the shift lights would blink every few seconds. i unpluged it and pluged it back in and it worked i think i have a problem with my ob2 connector in the car.

Did you wait until the coolant reached operating temperature before scanning for knock?

Ok I was just asking because I was surprised to see zero knock with your 3.4 setup. That is surprising, but it depends on what mph he was scanning at. i almost never have KR below 50. the top of second gear and up is when it starts appearing. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black.
