@ jamax, thanks! I hope tomake it even more aggressive looking with a frown.
@ghpcm, gracias! I hope to put her in primer by the end of the week. The rear bumper will have to play along with the primer,in other words,I'll be putin on the primer while I start on the rear bumper.I just have to see some color on the Riv.
And just off the center of the grill and frenched into the bumper face itself will be these..

Looks like a lot of work Robo, but it's looking great! I always imagined this to be your car, because of your avatar!

thanks fellas! I need to put a couple of beauty lines in that bumper. The more I look at it the more it's starting to look slabby. beauty lines are any crease or indentation that lead the eye to a particular point such as for example http://tinyurl.com/csd68ro
.A slabby look will cause the eye to "wash" over the bumper. Not giving any feedback in Particular to the viewer.I dont pretend to be a designer but a line or 2 here or there might make the bumper look nicer. With the Hella Angel eyes frenched into the center of the bumper, I'll have a nice visual distraction to break up the flatness of my design,
Any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated pics are even better.....

Robo, any plans for the rear bumper? That's what I am most anticipating. Can't wait to see how you incorporate the exhaust and taillight.

The bumper mod is difficult. It is tricky to get everything symmetrical, it is also very tough to come up with a design that looks like it flows with the lines of the car. It takes patience.
Your bumper is looking good. I'm excited to see how you handle the rear bumper with your design and light ideas. Keep up the good work. I have a couple of ideas for the headlights and tail lights myself. Speaking of, if you are going to get rid of your tail light let me know.

Still in progress.why is it taking so long for me to finish? I dont know? welding in the fender extensions and the fiberglass bumper has become a bigger time consumer than I imagined. That and the thousand of other projects that I have on the burner. Will the good times never end!?

still thinkin.I'm now trying to come up with a rear bumper design whereby I do away with the rear bumper alltogether.what i want to do is something like a Daytona coupe design.
http://tinyurl.com/cz9pr7f
I have the sheet steel and I think its doable.of course i have to work with the oem taillight design and make it fit.it wont be a crbon copy of the dayton coupe design, but along those lines.

I like the idea and would love to see it done. But I would never cut the trunk of my Riv. I love that space.

i wont be cutting anything.ill be adding sheet steel in the place of the oem plastic bumper ,a la,shelby daytona coupe. i am considering elements of the daytona coupe.ill retain the oem light assembly.

I got all the materials to do the bumper in steel.I'll weld it in and from the rear it will look like the entire rear end is one piece. I just have to get off my lazy ass and do it. I'll also be replacing the rocker panels too. Also the drip gap between the quarter panel and the sail panel will be closed up.When I'm done she will look preety smooth.
